Reduced Service Capacity

Workforce shortages have resulted in reduced service capacity. The number of registered care home beds shrank by 0.6% in the year to July 2023 and home care providers delivered almost 15% fewer hours’ care in the first three months of 2023 compared to the same period in 2021.
