Planning for Old Age

Planning remains one of the biggest challenges for the senior housing market as councils across England remain unprepared to provide suitable accommodation.


Research by property consultancy Knight Frank and law firm Irwin Mitchell reveals that just under a third of local authorities still do not have clear policies in place to support housing for older people.
