Health and Care Bill Progress

The Health and Care Bill has been passing through the House of Lords report stage. It sets out major changes to NHS rules and structures in England and is the largest legislative shake-up of the NHS in a decade. The Bill undoes many of the changes introduced by the Coalition government in the last round of major NHS legislation back in 2012.


The Bill will also formalise the adult social care cap at £86,000 which is due to become effective in October next year.
