Carers at breaking point

Carers UK chief executive Helen Walker believes that even more pressure is being loaded on exhausted carers who were already at breaking point.


She commented, “With hundreds of thousands of people waiting for an assessment or service, many thousands of carers and families will simply be unable to cope much longer. Together with the impact of the cost of living crisis, we’ll see the unacceptable inequalities that unpaid carers and their families already face get even wider.”
