Abbeyfield Society is to begin a consultation on the future of 40 sheltered housing properties and three care homes that can no longer be sustainably operated. The charity has conducted a review of all its homes following the ‘past few difficult years’, which have included the impact of the pandemic, rising energy prices and growing inflation.
