A Lack of Carers

With increased reports of care shortages around the UK, Age UK charity director Caroline Abrahams said the introduction of a cap on care costs and the more generous means-test for care next year will not address older and disabled people’s biggest concerns.


She explained, “What’s the point of having the reassurance that you won’t face unlimited bills for your care, if there’s no one to provide it for you in the first place?”
